Yellow Top Mbamba

Description

Yellow Fin or Yellow Top Mbamba come from the sediment rich rocky areas around Mbamba Bay in lake Malawi.

These beautiful fish are not as passive as their Labidochromis cousins, Electric Yellow, think of them more like the Red Zebra in temperament. With that being said, Mbamba are not as aggressive as most of their Mbuna counterparts.

Labidochromis Mbamba feed on algae and crustaceans in the lake. Here we feed them a combination of our Plankton Gold and spirulina flake. This mix will mimic the nutrition they get in the lake.
