Description

Black Calvus (latin for “bald”) get their name from the fact that they are missing the scales on their head. While they are collected from several localities in tanganyika, we believe our congo kapampa variety to be the most eye catching. Their slender body and pointed snout give the Black Calvus the upper hand to catch prey in narrow crevices. For feeding requirements they are similar to many of the Tanganyikan Piscivours. The only flake I would try is Plankton Gold or stick with frozen brine shrimp and other frozen foods.
