Description
Tilapia Buttikoferi are found in west Africa, around Liberia in the coastal streams and rivers.
These guys get pretty large, around 10” inches when fully grown. Because of this they will need a large, 100 gallons+ aquarium, if you want to keep them when they hit full size.
They will mix best with other aggressive species, like African Cichlids, and some South American cichlids.
