Description
Kribs are found in the slow and still water areas that are heavily vegetated, generally in the shallower areas. Some have even been found living in brackish areas.
To keep these fish happy you should have lots of hiding places for your fish, they will use these as potential spawning areas. Here we like to use plants and driftwood, you can also use clay pots as well. A pH of 5.0-7.5 should be maintained.
Kribs will readily except most foods given to them. Here we feed them our tropical flake with the occasional treat of frozen brine and blood worms.
Breeding these fish is very easy. These are generally one of the first fish species a new hobbyist breeds. If you want a break down on how to breed this fish read the article to the right –>
